Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club, Inc. is seeking a Part Time Meat Clerk in Willimantic, CT. The role involves receiving, rotating, wrapping, and merchandising fresh and processed meats, while assisting members with questions and product recommendations.

You will help maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the meat department. Qualifications include experience with fresh/processed meats and wrapping machines; at least 18 years old. Prior meat/deli department experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with fresh and processed meats preferred.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Knowledge of automatic/hand wrapping machines preferred.
• Experience in a meat and/or deli department preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receives, rotates, wraps, and merchandises fresh and processed meats.
• Assists in merchandising seafood, rotisserie chickens, prepared foods, and cheeses.
• Provides assistance to Members by answering questions and recommending products.
• Maintains cleaning and safety standards within the meat department.
