Job summary

BJ's Wholesale Club is seeking a Meat Department Team Member in Hamilton, NJ. You will receive, rotate, wrap, and merchandise fresh and processed meats, and assist in seafood, rotisserie, prepared foods, and cheeses.

You’ll answer member questions and help with product recommendations while maintaining cleanliness and safety standards in the meat area. The role emphasizes teamwork, speed, accuracy, and adherence to club policies to deliver great member service.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with fresh and processed meats preferred.
• Knowledge of automatic/hand wrapping machines preferred.
• Prior experience working in a meat and/or deli department preferred.
• At least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Receives, rotates, wraps, and merchandises fresh and processed meats.
• Assists in merchandising seafood, rotisserie chickens, prepared foods, and cheeses.
• Provides assistance to Members by answering questions and recommending products.
• Maintains all cleaning and safety standards within the meat department.
