Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club in New Jersey is seeking team members for the Meat Department who will receive, rotate, wrap, and merchandise fresh and processed meats while assisting Members with questions and product recommendations.

This role emphasizes maintaining cleanliness and safety standards, stocking cases, and supporting a collaborative team dedicated to fast, friendly service and consistent, high-quality execution.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with fresh and processed meats preferred.
• Knowledge of automatic/hand wrapping machines preferred.
• Prior experience working in a meat and/or deli department preferred.
• At least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Provides assistance to Members by answering questions regarding meats, poultry, and seafood.
• Rotates and wraps meat items and assists in packaging freshly cut meats and seafood.
• Inspects deliveries and ensures quality standards are met.
• Maintains cases stocked and adheres to safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Supports other duties as assigned and collaborates with team.
