Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club is seeking Team Members for the Meat Department in our location. You will receive, rotate, wrap, and merchandise fresh and processed meats, assist seafood and prepared foods sections, and help Members with product questions while maintaining safety and cleanliness standards.

We value speed, accuracy, and teamwork; expect to uphold Gold Club standards, work on a schedule (Thu-Sat 1pm-7pm), and participate in a supportive, inclusive environment with weekly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience with fresh and processed meats preferred.
• Knowledge of automatic/hand wrapping machines preferred.
• Experience in a meat and/or deli department preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance to Members by answering questions about meats, poultry, and seafood.
• Weigh, package, wrap, and label cuts of meat and seafood.
• Inspect and store meat on delivery and ensure quality standards.
• Keep meat, seafood, prepared foods and cheese cases stocked and rotated by expiry dates.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in the meat department.
