Work is 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday, with travel to various counties as needed.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Meat Science, Animal Science, Biology, Food Science, Microbiology, or related field.
• One year of experience conducting meat/poultry inspections or related processing experience.

• Perform ante-mortem and post-mmortem inspections at meat and poultry facilities.
• Evaluate plant sanitation procedures and HACCP plan effectiveness.
• Monitor critical control points and communicate regulatory requirements to plants.
• Travel to assigned counties to conduct inspections and educate firm operators.
