Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Meat Science, Animal Science, Biology, Food Science, Microbiology, or related field.
• or one year of meat/poultry inspection experience.
• Must maintain an active driver's license and have good DMV record.

Responsibilities

• Perform ante-mortem and post-mmortem inspections at meat and poultry facilities.
• Evaluate plant sanitation procedures and HACCP plan effectiveness.
• Monitor and advise on regulatory compliance and corrective actions.
• Travel to assigned counties to perform inspections and education.
