The position involves hands-on inventory control, product rotation, and collaboration with team members to meet high standards of quality and presentation in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in meat, grocery, retail, or warehouse operations.
• Strong product handling and inventory practices.
• Ability to identify quality issues and maintain safety standards.
• Experience in a fast-paced, team environment.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel or similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Support daily operations of the meat department to ensure product availability, quality, and presentation
• Assist in maintaining accurate inventory levels through proper stock control and product rotation
• Ensure all meat products are handled and stored in accordance with company and food safety standards
• Monitor product quality and freshness, ensuring timely removal or disposition of unsellable items
• Support and supervise department staff to ensure adherence to company procedures
• Assist with merchandising, signage, and product displays
• Support receiving processes by verifying incoming product for quality and accuracy
• Maintain department cleanliness, organization, and compliance with company policies
