Jetro Restaurant Depot is seeking an Assistant Meat Manager to support the meat department's daily operations, ensuring product quality and inventory accuracy. You will help supervise staff and maintain efficient department processes across a warehouse/retail setting.

The role emphasizes adherence to company standards, proper product handling, and collaboration with team members to maintain fresh, well-displayed meat products.

Qualifications

• Experience in meat, grocery, retail, or warehouse operations.
• Knowledge of product handling and inventory practices.
• Ability to identify quality issues and maintain safety standards.
• Experience in fast-paced, team environments.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel or similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Support daily operations of the meat department to ensure product availability, quality, and presentation.
• Assist in maintaining accurate inventory levels through proper stock control and product rotation.
• Ensure all meat products are handled and stored in accordance with company and food safety standards.
• Monitor product quality and freshness, ensuring timely removal or disposition of unsellable items.
• Support and supervise department staff to ensure adherence to company procedures.
• Assist with merchandising, signage, and product displays.
• Support receiving processes by verifying incoming product for quality and accuracy.
• Maintain department cleanliness, organization, and compliance with company policies.
