You will supervise staff, coordinate merchandising, manage stock levels, and ensure compliance with safety standards in a fast-paced, warehouse-style environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in meat, grocery, retail, or warehouse operations.
• Knowledge of inventory control, stock management, and product handling.
• Understanding of food safety and sanitation standards.
• Experience leading a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel or similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the meat department to ensure product availability, quality, and presentation.
• Maintain accurate inventory levels through proper stock control, rotation, and replenishment.
• Ensure meat products are handled, stored, and displayed per standards.
• Monitor quality and freshness, removing unsellable items as needed.
• Supervise department staff to meet procedures and performance expectations.
• Coordinate merchandising, signage, and product displays to boost sales.
• Review inventory trends, shrink, and discrepancies to address issues.
• Oversee receiving to ensure quality and accuracy of inbound product.
• Maintain department cleanliness, organization, and regulatory compliance.
