Job summary

Lowes Foods is seeking a Bench Department Manager for the Meat Department. You will oversee daily operations, ensure guest satisfaction, and drive sales in a busy supermarket setting.

After training, you may be assigned to a department within a 30-mile radius and will be expected to lead by example in merchandising, pricing, and food safety. Ideal candidates have 3-4 years in supermarket roles, strong leadership, and the ability to train staff.

Qualifications

• High school education and 3-4 years of progressive supermarket experience.
• Must be 18 years old.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs occasionally and 25 lbs constantly.
• Knowledge of meat operations and ability to train staff.
• Demonstrated ability to supervise and develop talent.

Responsibilities

• Ensure guests receive polite, friendly service in the meat department.
• Meet budgeted financial results and drive sales growth.
• Prepare products for sale (cut, slice, weigh, price) per standards.
• Maintain in-store merchandising, stock, and pricing processes.
• Schedule department personnel and ensure audits and compliance.
