This role involves supervising staff, handling stock rotations, maintaining safety compliance, and assisting with merchandising and receiving processes in a warehouse/retail environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in meat, grocery, and retail operations.
• Strong inventory management and product rotation knowledge.
• Ability to uphold food safety and sanitation standards.
• Effective team supervision and communication.
• Proficient with Excel or similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Support daily meat department operations to ensure product availability and presentation.
• Maintain accurate inventory levels through stock control and rotation.
• Ensure meat products are stored and handled per safety standards.
• Monitor product quality and freshness, removing unsellable items.
• Supervisor department staff to ensure adherence to procedures.
• Assist with merchandising, signage, and product displays.
• Support receiving by verifying incoming product quality and accuracy.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and compliance with policies.
