ShopRite of Neptune in Neptune, NJ is seeking a Meat Manager to direct all functions of the Meat Department and lead its associates toward sales, profit, and customer experience goals.

You will ensure safety, quality, and compliance, train staff, schedule shifts, supervise equipment, and maintain standards for cleanliness and display. This role requires physical stamina and the ability to work with diverse teams.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, speak English proficiently.
• Basic math skills for handling counts and measurements.
• Regularly lift 35 lbs and occasionally 80-90 lbs.
• Ability to stand, walk, and perform tasks for long shifts.
• Comfort with computer functions and data entry.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and environments with safety in mind.
• Strong leadership and teamwork, with ability to train staff.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise all functions of the Meat Department and its associates.
• Ensure safety, sanitation, and compliance with policies and regulations.
• Lead and engage associates to achieve department goals and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain proper product presentation, pricing, and inventory control.
• Train onboarding staff, manage schedules, and uphold quality standards.
