Job summary

ShopRite of Route 35 & 18th Ave in Belmar, NJ is seeking a Meat Manager to direct the Meat Department and its associates, driving sales, profitability, and Customer Experience under the General Store Manager.

The role requires strong leadership, safety compliance, and the ability to train and engage staff, manage merchandise, and uphold quality standards in a fast-paced retail environment. Experience in grocery operations is helpful.

Qualifications

• Must read, write and speak English proficiently.
• Basic math skills for pricing and inventory.
• Ability to stand/walk for shifts and lift up to 90 lbs.
• Ability to operate basic computer functions.
• Ability to lead and engage department associates.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise Meat Department to achieve goals.
• Greet customers and provide courteous service.
• Train and engage associates to deliver customer experience.
• Maintain safety, presentation and efficiency in department.
• Ensure proper stocking, pricing, and signage.
