Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club, Inc. is seeking a Meat Department Team Member to receive, rotate, cut, wrap, and merchandise fresh and processed meats. You will assist in the rotisserie chicken area and full service deli, maintain sanitation, and help ensure all meat cuts meet our quality standards.

Responsibilities include engaging with members, following club policies, and upholding GOLD standards to provide safe, friendly service and a clean, well-stocked meat department.

Qualifications

• Completion of a training program/apprenticeship is required.
• Previous meat cutting experience is required.
• Knowledge of automatic/hand wrapping machines is preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Engages with Members by making recommendations and answering questions regarding meat, poultry, and seafood.
• Cuts, grinds, and processes fresh meats to company standards.
• Weighs, packages, wraps, and labels cuts of meat, poultry, and seafood.
• Keeps meat, seafood, and cheese cases stocked and rotates products by expiration dates.
