Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club in the United States seeks a Meat Department team member to receive, rotate, wrap, and merchandise fresh and processed meats; assist Members by answering questions and recommending products; maintain all cleaning and safety standards within the meat department.

Responsibilities also include weighing, packaging, labeling cuts, and supporting the department to ensure proper stock and club standards, while delivering friendly, efficient service to Members.

Qualifications

• Experience with fresh and processed meats preferred.
• Experience with automatic/hand-wrapping machines preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Assist with weighing, packaging, and labeling meats.
• Rotate and merchandize meat, seafood, and prepared foods.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the meat department.
• Provide member assistance and product recommendations.
