BJ’s Wholesale Club is seeking a Meat Cutter to receive, rotate, cut, wrap, and merchandize fresh and processed meats. You will assist in seafood, prepared foods, cheeses, and deli areas, and help with rotisserie chicken and other duties as needed.

Maintain sanitation and safety standards throughout the meat department. The role requires previous meat cutting experience, ability to use wrapping equipment, and adherence to company policies.

Qualifications

• Completion of a training program/apprenticeship required.
• Previous meat cutting experience required.
• Knowledge of automatic/hand wrapping machines preferred.
• At least 18 years of age.

Responsabilités

• Engages and assists Members by making recommendations about meat, poultry and seafood and prepares special cuts as ordered.
• Cuts, grinds, and processes fresh meats to company standards and ensures proper packaging and labeling.
• Maintains sanitation and safety standards in the meat department and keeps the case stocked and organized.
