Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club is hiring for a meat department position. You will receive, rotate, cut, wrap, and merchandise fresh and processed meats and assist in seafood, cheeses, and deli areas. You’ll help Members with cut selections and ensure sanitation and safety standards are maintained.

Regular duties include stocking, rotating inventory, and following club policies while delivering excellent member service. The role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and adherence to GOLD standards daily.

Qualifications

• Completion of a training program/apprenticeship required.
• Previous meat cutting experience required.
• Knowledge of automatic/hand wrapping machines preferred.

Responsibilities

• Engages and provides assistance to our Members by making recommendations along with answering questions regarding meat, poultry, and seafood.
• Prepares special cuts of meat ordered by Members.
• Cuts, grinds, and/or processes fresh meats to company cutting standards.
