Job summary

Meijer Inc. in Michigan is seeking a team member to assist in the daily cutting of fresh beef, pork, and grind, following the production schedule to meet requirements for advertised fresh meat cuts.

You will write fresh meat orders, organize deliveries, and maintain a positive working relationship with customers, team members and leadership. This role requires familiarity with weights and measures, safety and sanitation procedures, and experience with inventory control and CAO software.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with weights and measures specific to meat processing.
• Ability to understand and follow specific safety and sanitation procedures.
• Experience in product presentation and packaging.
• Experience using Computer Assisted Ordering applications.
• Current handjack/hilo license.
• Experience with inventory control procedures.
