Save-A-Lot is seeking a Meat Cutter to maintain the meat department standards, trim and prepare standard cuts, and ensure proper labeling and display to maximize sales. You will deliver high customer service while following the Meat Cutter Resource Manual and Store policies.

The role requires 18+ years of age, a high school diploma (or equivalent), and successful completion of the Save-A-Lot Meat Cutter Training Program within 3 months. Experience with knives and power tools is preferred.

Qualificações

• Must be 18 years of age.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of Save-A-Lot Meat Cutter Training within 3 months.
• Experience cutting meat with hand tools and power equipment preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Dependable and flexible; follow uniform dress code.

Responsabilidades

• Work under direction of Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager.
• Cut and package authorized beef, pork, and poultry per policy.
• Wrap, weigh and price cuts; label per COOL and USDA standards.
• Ensure displays and case signs are updated and meat is merchandised to maximize sales.
• Maintain proper date rotation and cold chain; receive and store meat.
• Ensure sanitation and quality standards daily; follow all Save-A-Lot policies.
• Potentially work at more than one store.
