Raley's is seeking a Meat Cutter to manage day-to-day operations in the Meat and Seafood departments and deliver an exceptional customer experience. The role focuses on food safety, accurate cutting, and friendly service while supporting stocking, merchandising, and store cleanliness.

The position requires attention to detail, ability to handle up to 50 lbs, and the flexibility to work in a busy retail environment. Training will cover tool usage, safety standards, and product knowledge.

Qualifications

• Experience with meat cutting and food safety practices.
• Ability to handle up to 50 lbs.
• Must be 18+ years old (21+ if alcohol service applies).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Order, cut, grind, slice, weigh, wrap and label meat products per standards.
• Maintain product freshness and minimize waste through proper handling.
• Assist customers with product information and recommendations.
• Use meat department tools safely and efficiently according to safety standards.
• Keep the meat counter clean, stocked, and organized.
• Process customer orders accurately and on time.
• Support deli and merchandising activities as needed.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
