Raley's is seeking a Meat Cutter to support our Meat and Seafood departments, focusing on safety, quality, and memorable customer service. The role involves cutting, weighing, labeling, stocking, and merchandising while maintaining high sanitation standards.

You will help provide excellent product information and ensure a well-stocked counter for customers. The position requires adherence to safety policies, ability to operate department tools, and a team-oriented approach in a fast-paced retail

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age; 21+ for positions serving alcohol.
• Experience with meat cutting and display is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Order, cut, grind, slice, weigh, wrap and label according to quality and safety standards.
• Control shrink and inventory costs through proper handling.
• Sell products and provide helpful product information to customers.
• Use meat department tools and equipment safely (knives, saws, wrapping machine, grinder).
• Keep the meat counter clean, well-stocked and neatly displayed.
• Take customer orders and ensure timely completion.
• Follow food safety and sanitation standards; this is a safety-sensitive position.
