Qualifications

• Food safety and sanitation knowledge.
• Ability to stock, produce, and merchandise while serving customers.
• Safety sensitive position.
• Age requirements: 18+; 21+ for alcohol service.

Responsibilities

• Order, cut, grind, slice, weigh, wrap and label products per quality and safety standards.
• Control shrink and inventory through proper handling and wrapping.
• Provide customers with helpful product information.
• Use meat department tools safely (knives, saws, wrapping machine, tenderizer, patty maker, grinder).
• Monitor pricing, signage, and product placement.
• Keep meat counter clean, stocked, and organized.
• Prepare ready-to-go meat products.
• Slice and merchandise deli meats and cheeses.
• Display goods per merchandising guidelines.
• Take customer orders and fulfill on time.
