Job summary

Raley's is seeking a Meat Cutter to join its Meat and Seafood departments in Tucson, AZ. The role emphasizes day-to-day meat cutting, stocking, production and merchandising while delivering memorable customer service.

The position requires working in a fast-paced environment with a strong focus on safety and sanitation. You will help with inventory, pricing and display, and support the deli and service counters as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Must be 21 years of age for any position that serves alcohol.

Responsibilities

• Order, cut, grind, slice, weigh, wrap and label meat products according to quality, quantity, freshness and safety standards.
• Control shrink and inventory through proper cutting, trimming and wrapping techniques.
• Sell products by providing customers with helpful information and addressing needs.
• Safely operate meat department tools and equipment and ensure safety standards are followed.
• Display goods and signage in accordance with merchandising guidelines.
• Take customer orders and ensure completion on time and to satisfaction.
• Maintain a clean, stocked meat counter and service cases.
• Assist with preparation of ready-to-go meat products.
• All other related duties as assigned.
