Whole Foods Market IP. L.P. is seeking a Meat Cutter to join our team in California.

This role focuses on cutting, preparing, displaying, and selling meat products, while delivering courteous, friendly, and efficient service to customers and Team Members, and upholding health and safety standards. You will perform opening, mid, and closing duties, mentor Meat Cutter Trainees, and help maintain product quality and pricing accuracy.

Competenze

• 14+ months retail experience.
• Completed WFM Butcher Apprentice Program, or an equivalent training program.

Mansioni

• Cuts, platters, and merchandises products.
• Prepares specialty meat merchandise.
• Checks product quality to meet standards.
• Maintains sampling program.
• Monitors and assists in preventing spoilage.
• Mentors Meat Cutter Trainees.
• Arrives on time and attends trainings.
• Provides excellent customer service and uses suggestive selling.
• Maximizes sales through prep, storing, rotating, and merchandising.
• Follows health, sanitation, and safety procedures.
• Maintains clean, sanitary environment and equipment.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties; checks pricing.
• Reports safety hazards and violations.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
