Job summary

Whole Foods Market IP. L.P. in the United States is seeking a Meat Cutter to cut, prepare, display, and sell meat products in a fast-paced store environment. You will ensure quality and safety, provide friendly service, answer customer questions, and help maintain product displays and pricing.

The role requires knowledge of meat cuts, seafood preparation, and strong teamwork with a focus on customer satisfaction and store standards. Weekend and holiday availability may be required.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of different cuts and cooking techniques of meat and seafood.
• Excellent cutting skills with the ability to break down product into sub-primal and retail cuts.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to follow procedures and maintain high quality standards, including health & sanitation.

Responsibilities

• Cuts, platters, and merchandises products (beef, pork, lamb, veal, poultry).
• Prepares specialty meat merchandise (i.e. sausage, oven ready products, and cured meats).
• Maintains sampling program and checks product quality to meet WFM standards.
• Provides excellent customer service and supports suggestive selling.
• Maintains a clean, safe, and sanitary work environment and assists in opening/closing duties.
