Job summary

Food City is seeking a dependable meat department team member to handle cutting, grinding, slicing, and merchandising of fresh meat. You will assist with ordering, receiving, and displaying products, while maintaining clean displays and proper dating.

The role includes rotating stock, ensuring HACCP compliance, and providing courteous service. On-site work in Colorado with a focus on safety and sanitation; prior meat-cutting experience is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Meat cutting experience is a plus, but not required.
• Ability to meet standard physical, mental, and visual demands.
• Ability to understand and follow verbal and/or written instructions, perform routine and repetitive tasks and have constant contact with various levels of individuals daily.
• Ability to attend on-site work during scheduled shifts to adhere to company time and attendance policies.

Responsibilities

• Cut and merchandise all fresh meat.
• Assist in ordering, receiving and displaying products.
• Grind meat.
• Slice meat.
• Organize cooler and stock cooler.
• Rotate product.
• Keep display cases neat and clean.
