Food City in the local area is seeking a Meat Department team member to cut and merchandise all fresh meat, assist in ordering and displaying products, grind and slice meat, and maintain clean display cases. You will rotate stock, ensure correct dating, and sanitize the department twice daily while delivering courteous service to customers.

The role emphasizes following instructions, meeting physical and attendance requirements, and contributing to a safe, efficient food service environment.

Formación

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Meat cutting experience a plus, but not required.
• Ability to meet standard Physical, Mental, and Visual demands.
• Ability to understand and follow verbal and/or written instructions, perform routine and repetitive tasks and have constant contact with various levels of individuals on a daily basis.
• Ability to attend on-site work during scheduled shifts to adhere to company time and attendance policies.

Responsabilidades

• Cutting and merchandising of all fresh meat.
• Assist in ordering, receiving and displaying all product.
• Grind meat.
• Slice meat.
• Rotate/organize cooler and stock cooler.
• Maintain neat and clean display areas and proper code dates.
• Keep work station and surrounding area tidy.
• Department must be sanitized and disinfected twice daily.
• Provide efficient and courteous service to customers.
• Assist in enforcing HACCP program.
