Job summary

Food City is seeking a meat department team member to cut and merchandise fresh meat, assist with ordering and receiving, grind and slice meat, and rotate stock. The role requires maintaining neat displays, proper dating, and clean work areas while following HACCP guidelines and delivering courteous service to customers.

Qualifications

• Meat cutting experience preferred, but not required.
• Ability to meet standard physical, mental, and visual demands.
• Ability to understand and follow verbal and/or written instructions, perform routine and repetitive tasks.
• Ability to attend on-site work during scheduled shifts to adhere to company time and attendance policies.

Responsibilities

• Cut and merchandise fresh meat to display standards.
• Assist in ordering, receiving and displaying products.
• Grind meat and slice meat as needed.
• Organize cooler layout and stock accordingly.
• Rotate products and maintain display cleanliness and code dates.
• Ensure HACCP program compliance and provide courteous customer service.
