Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club, Inc. is seeking team members for the Meat Department. The role involves helping Members with meat, poultry, and seafood, and preparing and processing cuts to company standards in a fast-paced retail club environment.

Candidates should have completed a recognized training/apprenticeship and be at least 18 years old, with prior meat cutting experience preferred and familiarity with wrapping machines.

Qualifications

• Completion of a training program/apprenticeship required.
• Previous meat cutting experience required.
• Knowledge of automatic/hand wrapping machines preferred.
• At least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Engages with Members, answers questions about meat, poultry, and seafood.
• Prepares special cuts of meat ordered by Members.
• Cuts, grinds, and processes fresh meats to company standards.
• Weighs, packages, wraps, and labels meat cuts and seafood.
