Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club is seeking a Meat Department team member in our stores. You will cut, wrap, and prepare meats, assist Members with recommendations, and ensure products meet safety and quality standards.

This role requires completion of an apprenticeship or training, prior meat cutting experience, and the ability to operate wrapping machines. At least 18 years old and available for full-time shifts. Located in a BJ’s store environment with a focus on service.

Qualifications

• Completion of a training program/apprenticeship required.
• Previous meat cutting experience required.
• Knowledge of automatic/hand wrapping machines preferred.
• At least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Engage and assist Members by making recommendations about meat, poultry, and seafood.
• Cut, grind, and process fresh meats to company standards; weigh, package, and label products.
• Maintain meat department stock, signage, and sanitation to ensure safety and quality.
• Receive and inspect meat deliveries; rotate stock and manage inventory according to expiration dates.
