Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club is hiring for the Meat Department to receive, rotate, cut, wrap, and merchandise fresh and prepared meats, including special cuts as ordered by Members. You will assist in seafood, cheeses, and deli while upholding sanitation and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Previous meat cutting experience required.
• Completion of a training program/apprenticeship required.
• Knowledge of automatic/hand wrapping machines preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Engages with Members by making recommendations and answering questions about meat, poultry, and seafood.
• Cuts, grinds, and processes fresh meats to company standards and weighs, packages, wraps, and labels cuts.
• Maintains meat case with properly stocked, rotated products and ensures sanitation and safety standards.
