Fresh Thyme Market is seeking a Meat Cutter to keep meat cases stocked and attractive while assisting customers with purchases and product selection. You will apply knowledge of scales, weights, and dating procedures to ensure quality and safety across meat and seafood items.

The role requires 2+ years in grocery retail meat operations; journeyman or apprenticeship is preferred. Strong attention to detail and teamwork are essential for this fast-paced store environment.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years grocery retail experience in Meat department preferred.
• Journeyman cutter or apprenticeship program completed preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Stocks meat cases, faces products, and maintains display per Meat Dept. schematics.
• Assists customers and processes purchases with a friendly, energetic demeanor.
• Monitors temperature and sanitation for safety in meat department.
• Weights, wraps, and labels meat/seafood products following dating procedures.
