The Fresh Market is seeking a Meat Cutter to join the team in our store. You will manage, cut, and trim meat and seafood according to company standards and assist with inventory, pricing integrity, and merchandising to ensure a premium guest experience.

This fast-paced role requires attention to detail, efficiency, and a passion for excellence. Candidates must have meat-cutting experience and be at least 18; certification within 90 days of hire is required to maintain quality standards.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in cutting meat
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Meat cutters must be certified within The Fresh Market’s internal training platform within 90 days of hire

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of products and weekly ad items to assist guests across departments
• Handle and trim meat and seafood to The Fresh Market standards
• Monitor case temperatures, storage areas, and freshness
• Follow safety, food safety, receiving, stocking and unloading procedures
• Ensure compliance with safety policies and applicable laws
