Job summary

Food City is seeking a team member for the meat department. The role involves cutting, grinding, and slicing meat, stocking the cooler, and ensuring proper dating and rotation of products. You will provide courteous service and help maintain HACCP compliance in a fast-paced retail setting.

Responsibilities include merchandising, ordering support, and upholding cleanliness across display cases. Prior meat-cutting experience is a plus, with on-site shifts and adherence to company policies.

Qualifications

• Meat cutting experience is a plus but not required.
• Ability to meet physical, mental, and visual demands.
• Ability to understand and follow verbal or written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Cut and merchandise fresh meat for display.
• Assist in ordering, receiving, and displaying products.
• Grind and slice meat as needed.
• Organize cooler and stock display areas; rotate products.
• Maintain neat displays and proper dating of products.
• Keep work area clean; sanitize department twice daily.
• Provide efficient and courteous customer service.
• Enforce HACCP program requirements.
