New Leaf Community Markets, Inc. is seeking a Meat Cutter to join the Meat & Seafood team. You will process meat and seafood cuts, weigh and price products, and ensure adherence to department policies and regulations.

Responsibilities include ordering according to sales trends, maintaining inventory levels, and supporting a collaborative team. Prior meat cutting experience and knowledge of department standards are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service, food service, retail or grocery experience preferred.
• Knowledge of retail Meat and Seafood departments preferred, however butcher shop or meat fabrication experience acceptable.
• Prior meat cutting / fabrication experience required.

Responsabilités

• Wraps, weighs and prices meat and seafood products according to department policy, dating and government regulations in regards to tare weights and COOL Act.
• Ensures all meat and seafood items are cut, trimmed, and processed in accordance to company standards.
• Orders meat products according to anticipated sales and seasonal needs. Maintains appropriate inventory levels to achieve sales and margin goals.
• Maintains production levels and updates production guide.
• Guides the work of back up meat cutters, including planning and assigning work, ensuring quality standards, training staff and overseeing their productivity.
