Job summary

The Fresh Market is seeking a Meat Cutter to expertly cut, trim, and prepare meat and seafood while upholding quality and freshness across the department. You will support inventory, pricing integrity, and merchandising to deliver an exceptional guest experience.

This role requires attention to detail and a passion for excellence in a fast-paced setting. Applicants should have 2+ years of meat-cutting experience, be at least 18, and complete internal certification within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Certified within The Fresh Market’s internal training platform within 90 days of hire.
• 2+ years of experience in cutting meat.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of products/weekly ad items and assist guests across departments to find products and meal solutions.
• Handle, slice, cut, and trim meat and seafood while ensuring quality per The Fresh Market standards.
• Monitor the temperature of cases, spillovers, and storage areas.
