Watsontown Supermarket Inc/ Lingles is seeking an experienced Meat Cutter to join our team in Jersey Shore, PA. You will trim, cut, and prepare standard meat cuts, following store guidelines and merchandising plans to drive sales and profitability.

The role requires standing for long periods, lifting up to 30 lbs, and adherence to sanitation standards. Training and development are available, and a flexible schedule supports work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• High school diploma/GED required.
• Experience using meat cutting equipment, power equipment, and hand tools.
• Ability to stand for long periods and regularly lift 30lbs.

Responsibilities

• Cut and trim meat using knives and power equipment.
• Package and display meat in an attractive manner.
• Order inventory and maintain appropriate levels of stock.
• Receive and inspect meat as it arrives to the store.
• Ensure the cold chain is unbroken and meat remains high quality.
• Follow high standards of sanitation and quality control.
