Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club in Chicopee, MA is seeking team members for the Meat Department. You’ll weigh, wrap, label, and merchandize fresh and processed meats, assist Members, and help maintain safety and cleanliness standards.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with fresh and processed meats preferred.
• Ability to weigh, wrap, label, and merchandize meat products.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Provides assistance to Members by answering questions regarding meats, poultry, and seafood.
• Weighs, packages, wraps, and labels cuts of meat, poultry, and seafood; assists with processing.
• Inspects and stores meat upon delivery and ensures quality standards.
• Maintains fully stocked meat, seafood, prepared foods, and cheese cases; follows expiration-date guidelines.
• Regular, predictable attendance is an essential function of this job.
