Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club is seeking a team member for the Meat Department in our store. You will receive, rotate, wrap, and merchandize fresh and processed meats, assist Members with questions, and help maintain clean, safe display cases and proper labeling. Strong attention to safety and quality is required.

The role supports club operations, collaborates with team members, and upholds GOLD standards. Weekly pay and comprehensive benefits are part of the package.

Qualifications

• Experience with fresh and processed meats.
• Experience with wrapping machines.
• Experience in a meat or deli department.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Receives, rotates, wraps, and merchandises fresh and processed meats.
• Assists Members by answering questions regarding meats, poultry and seafood.
• Weighs, packages, wraps, and labels cuts of meat, poultry and seafood.
• Assists the meat cutter in packaging freshly cut meats and seafood.
• Inspects and stores meat upon delivery.
• Maintains cleanliness and safety standards in the meat department.
