Northwest Michigan Community Action Agency, Inc. seeks a Meals on Wheels Driver Coordinator to oversee the Senior Nutrition program in Traverse City.

You will manage volunteers, kitchen staff, Meal Transporters, and Site Coordinators to ensure timely meals, safety checks, and compassionate client interactions. The role requires leadership, organizational skills, and the ability to handle sensitive financial tasks such as deposits and client statements.

Qualificações

• High school diploma required; college degree preferred.
• Serve-Safe certification required.
• Experience supervising volunteers and staff.
• Strong leadership and organizational abilities.

Responsabilidades

• Recruit, hire, train, and supervise volunteers and staff in a selected county.
• Coordinate communication between staff, clients, NMCAA, and the aging council.
• Oversee kitchen operations to meet safety, sanitation, and nutrition standards.
• Manage monthly menu distribution and site visits for regulatory compliance.
• Train and support Congregate site coordinators and increase Luncheon Center participation.
• Complete intake forms, manage client changes, and address referrals while maintaining records.
• Serve as back-up delivery driver, ensuring caring visits, safety checks, and timely meals; process deposits, payments, statements.
• Commit to NMCAA philosophy and maintain confidentiality.
