Job summary

Good Samaritan Pipestone, a nationwide nonprofit provider of senior care, is seeking an experienced RN for the MDS Nurse role. You will lead resident assessments, coordinate care plans, and ensure quality of life for residents.

As part of our team, you will oversee the RAC-CT process, collaborate with families and interdisciplinary colleagues, and mentor staff while upholding our Christian care values and community standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate from NLN or AACN accredited nursing program preferred.
• Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred.
• Minimum of one-year experience as licensed nurse with senior population preferred.
• Resident Assessment Coordinator-Certified (RAC-CT), management or supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• When functioning on the floor, the RN provides individualized nursing care to patients using the nursing process.
• The MDS Nurse leads the Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) process and coordinates care plans.
• Collaborates with residents, families and providers to assure ongoing quality of life and care.
