Job summary

Good Samaritan Pipestone in Pipestone, MN is seeking an experienced MDS RN to lead nursing staff, oversee resident assessments, and ensure high-quality care under the RA I process.

The RN will collaborate with residents, families, and interdisciplinary teams, perform assessments, and manage care plans from admission through ongoing care, aligned with state standards and the Nurse Practice Act.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an NLN or AACN accredited nursing program is preferred.
• Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred.
• Minimum of one-year experience working as licensed nurse with the senior population preferred.
• Resident Assessment Coordinator-Certified (RAC-CT) or supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, direct and evaluate nursing staff in resident care and RA I process.
• Assess and evaluate resident care; keep care plans current.
• Collaborate with residents, family and inter-disciplinary colleagues to ensure quality of life.
