Job summary

Genesis Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) in Washington to ensure proper reimbursement for patient care services through MDS/RAI processes. You will participate in the Resident Assessment Instrument workflow and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate assessments and care plans.

The role requires completing MDSs, Care Plans, and staying updated on federal and state regulations governing long-term care.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Nurse licensed in the state and in good standing.
• Experience completing MDSs and Care Plans is required.
• Knowledge of long-term care regulations and RAI guidance.

Responsibilities

• Support reimbursement for patient care services through MDS/RAI processes.
• Contribute to the Resident Assessment Instrument workflow with RAI guidelines.
• Identify changes in patient condition and coordinate assessments with the team.
• Assist with ADL training for new hires and ongoing education.
• Stay current on Federal and State MDS regulations and PPS requirements.
