Job summary

Progressive Quality Care Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented MDS Coordinator (RN or LPN) to lead resident assessments and care planning in a collaborative, family-owned setting with a long-standing commitment to quality care.

As part of a team, you will oversee timely MDS assessments, certify documentation for accuracy, lead care planning meetings, and educate staff on compliance. Candidates must have an accredited nursing degree and an active RN license.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current RN license.
• Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Experience with EMRs and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs in a clinical environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and schedule timely completion of MDS assessments
• Review and certify documentation for accuracy and regulatory compliance
• Lead care planning meetings and conduct resident interviews
• Enter and transmit assessment data per regulatory requirements
• Analyze Quality Indicator Reports and track resident changes
• Educate staff on MDS documentation and compliance standards
• Collaborate with the Director of Nursing on assessment-related needs
