Job summary

Progressive Quality Care seeks an experienced MDS Coordinator and licensed RN to lead resident assessments and care planning with accuracy and interdisciplinary teamwork. The role centers on regulatory compliance and collaboration with the nursing team in a private-room, hotel-like facility.

You will schedule MDS assessments, review documentation for accuracy, lead care planning meetings, and ensure proper data transmission per regulations while educating staff on best practices.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current RN license required.
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) and regulatory compliance is preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and analytical skills are essential.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and work in a clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and schedule timely completion of MDS assessments.
• Review and certify documentation for accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Lead care planning meetings and conduct resident interviews.
• Enter and transmit assessment data per regulatory requirements.
• Analyze Quality Indicator Reports and track resident changes.
• Educate staff on MDS documentation and compliance standards.
• Collaborate with the Director of Nursing on assessment-related needs.
