Responsibilities

• May perform scribe functions by documenting provider/patient interactions in the medical record.
• Under the supervision and responsibility of a licensed clinician.
• Observe and report patients' signs or symptoms; participate in performance improvement projects.
• Participate as an active care team member in coordinating patient care.
• Provide a standard of excellence in customer service for patients, staff, and other customers.
• Assist with test scoring.
• Assist with report documentation.

Experience Requirements:

• 1 year - Clerical/Customer Service experience, ideally in a healthcare related industry, experience with third party payors and computer experience for inputting data and reviewing patient demographic material. - preferred

Education

Degree in medicine, with plans for a career in dental, medicine, advanced medical practice, pharmacy, chiropractor, physical/occupational therapy, or other allied health fields.

Certifications/Licensure: Basic Life Support (BLS) - required - at time of hire

Travel: Up to 10%
