Job summary

Miami University seeks an MBA & Professional Education Staff Director to lead external partnerships, enrollment growth, and program development for the MBA and tailored education offerings.

The role focuses on building corporate partnerships, engaging alumni, and expanding professional education opportunities with strategic oversight of recruitment, marketing, and student success initiatives.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree and at least five (5) years of relevant professional experience; OR a bachelor’s degree and at least eight (8) years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience in graduate or professional education, enrollment management, business development, corporate relations, marketing, or a related field.
• Experience leading, supervising, or managing professional staff.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary external-facing leader for the MBA certificates, MBA degree, and tailored professional education engagements.
• Identify, develop, and manage relationships with organizations, executives, alumni, and professional networks to generate MBA prospects and engagement opportunities.
• Develop strategic direction and view for the MBA program and tailored professional education emphasizing growth, enrollment, revenue, and student success.
• Establish annual targets for enrollment and engagement based on market trends, employer needs, and student demand.
• Oversee MBA recruitment and enrollment strategy focusing on working professionals and alumni.
• Collaborate with marketing teams on campaigns, website content, and events to promote programs.
• Provide oversight for the Student Experience function and handle complex student or operational issues.
