Job summary

Miami University is seeking an MBA & Professional Education Staff Director who will provide strategic leadership for the MBA program and tailored professional education. The role focuses on corporate partnerships, external engagement, enrollment growth, and program development, serving as the program's external-facing representative.

Qualifications

• Master's degree and at least five years of relevant professional experience; OR a bachelor's degree and at least eight years.
• Experience in graduate or professional education, enrollment management, business development, corporate relations, marketing, or a related field.
• Experience developing and managing relationships with employers, executives, alumni, or other external stakeholders.
• Experience leading, supervising, or managing professional staff.
• Preferred qualifications include a Master's degree in business, education, marketing, management, or an MBA.
• Experience working in higher education, especially in graduate or professional education.
• Experience recruiting and enrolling working professionals or adult learners.
• Experience developing corporate partnerships, customized education programs, executive education, or workforce development initiatives.
• Experience engaging alumni as ambassadors, referral sources, mentors, or corporate connectors.
• Experience working with senior executives, HR or talent-development leaders, or other organizational decision-makers.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams or initiatives within a complex organization.

Responsibilities

• 1. Corporate Partnerships and External Engagement - Primary Responsibility: Serve as the primary external-facing leader and ambassador for the MBA certificates, MBA degree, and tailored professional education engagements.
• 2. MBA Strategy, Growth, and Program Leadership: Develop strategic direction and vision for the MBA program and tailored professional education, focusing on quality, growth, enrollment, revenue, market positioning, and student success.
• 3. Enrollment Management and Recruitment Leadership: Develop and oversee the MBA recruitment and enrollment strategy for key populations and collaborate with admissions and marketing teams.
• 4. Marketing and Market Positioning: Direct marketing and communications across channels to reach employer needs and value of Miami MBA certificates and degrees.
• 5. Oversight of MBA Assistant Director - Student Experience: Provide oversight and coaching; serve as escalation point for complex issues.
• 6. Budget, Data, and Program Performance: Manage budget and track KPIs, ROI, and program expenses.
• 7. Alumni and Business Community Engagement: Build relationships with alumni and organizations to foster mentoring, recruitment, and corporate outreach.
