Job summary

Miami University in Oxford, Ohio seeks an Associate Director for Industry Partnerships and Student Engagement to drive corporate collaborations and actively manage student organizations within the Farmer School of Business. You will lead partnerships, coordinate experiential programs, and support student groups across campuses.

The role emphasizes relationship building, business development, and clear communication, with remote hybrid work: four days on campus and one day remote.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of work experience.
• Proven relationship building and collaboration skills.
• Experience in business development and partner management.
• Strong written and oral communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Host President's meetings, manage the EmpowerU program, conduct 1:1s with B-Org leaders to assist with the management of the organization (Farmer School Business Organization & Engagement).
• Manage membership and engagement of co-curricular cohorts for Wealth Management and the development of new cohorts such as Consulting, Sales, and Human Capital (Cohort Management & Engagement).
• Source, capture, and coordinate client projects for StrategyWorks, FYIC, MA ECO, ESP, etc. Handle project agreements with General Counsel (Class Projects).
• Lead the planning, execution, and regional corporate site visits for Career Treks (Career Treks).
• Centralize data on all experiential learning across FSB (Experiential Sourcing & Tracking).
• Collaborate with the Farmer School Career Ecosystem: Engage various faculty, staff, students and corporate partners across the Farmer School to achieve our strategic vision.
• Some travel is required.
