Job summary

Humana invites MBA and other advanced-degree students to join its Summer 2027 Internship Program, focusing on enterprise growth. The internship offers exposure to strategic areas across healthcare businesses, with hands-on projects, leadership engagement, and real impact on enterprise priorities.

Positions are 12-week, in-person at Humana HQ in Louisville, KY, with opportunities to work 3-4 days per week on-site in several listed locations.

Qualifications

Currently enrolled in MBA or another advanced professional degree program, with an expected graduation date in spring or summer 2028.
Available to work full time, 40 hours per week, May 24, 2027 through August 13, 2027.
Must be willing to work in-person 3-4 days per week in Arlington, VA; Boston, MA; Chicago, IL; Fort Lauderdale, FL; Louisville, KY; Nashville, TN; and New York, NY.
Must not require sponsorship to work in the United States either now or in the future.
Minimum of three years of professional experience completed before beginning graduate school.
Demonstrated leadership through professional, academic, military, or extracurricular experiences.

Responsibilities

Support enterprise-level strategic initiatives and project work across business areas.
Translate priorities into actionable plans, including business cases and market insights.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior leaders to drive execution and impact.
Engage in leadership activities and enterprise connections through program experiences.
